General Guidelines

  • All presenters (competitive and non-competitive) should have registered for Pedosphere at the time of abstract submission.
  • Only one presentation (Oral / e poster/ Debate/ Table clinic) is allowed per student/ faculty as presenting author, whereas they can be coauthors for unlimited number of presentations.
  • Abstracts must be original and Should not have been previously published or presented at a previous ISPPD conference.
  • All abstracts should be submitted electronically through the Pedosphere website( only.
  • Strict adherence to timeline and specific guidelines is requested.
  • Last date for online abstract submission for competitive category is the 31st of July 2017. Abstracts submitted beyond this until closure shall be considered in the non-competitive category.
  • Online submission shall be closed by the 15th of August 2017.
  • All incomplete abstracts shall be in the non-competitive category only.
  • Plagiarism is strictly prohibited.
  • The decision of the scientific committee will be final and binding.

Post Graduate Students please note:

  • Contents of scientific sessions submitted must be reviewed and counter-signed by the head of the department, who must also take responsibility of the contents of the respective presentations. It should not contain misinterpreted or plagiarized material.
  • All post graduate participants have to upload the declaration form duly signed by the head of the department if not abstracts will be rejected / eligible only in non-competitive category.

What’s New in Scientific @ Pedosphere?

  • Two students can present a Oral Presentation jointly
  • Duration for poster (2+1 min) and paper (6+2Mins) presentation uniform for all participants. All these are going to take place on the 2nd day of the conference (1st day is Pre Conference Courses)
  • Scoring criteria is given before the competition so that the preparations can be done accordingly.
  • Abstracts coming after the deadlines will default go into the non-competitive category
